Synopsis:

Commissioner Navarrin is retiring tonight. But the last day of this cop’s legendary and dubious reputation is going to be more eventful than expected, when he is assigned a final and most confusing case. A corpse in a sauna and a story of plagiarism, all of which seems to lead to a state scandal… Or maybe it’s all just theatre! The more the investigation progresses, the more this quest for the truth tends to show that everything is false in this abracadabrantesque story. Lying truthfully, as we know, is the hallmark of the dramatic arts… as well as politics. This hilarious parody of TV crime shows makes fun of all the flaws in our society, which is often based on imposture, hypocrisy and sometimes even swindling…

Le Commissaire Navarrin prend sa retraite ce soir. Mais la dernière journée de ce flic à la réputation aussi légendaire que douteuse s’annonce plus mouvementée que prévu, quand on lui confie une ultime affaire des plus embrouillées. Un cadavre dans un sauna et une histoire de plagiat, le tout semblant déboucher sur un scandale d’État… À moins que tout cela ne soit finalement que du théâtre ! Plus l’enquête avance, en effet, plus cette quête de vérité tend à démontrer que tout est faux dans cette histoire abracadabrantesque. Mentir vrai, on le sait, est le propre de l’art dramatique… comme celui de la politique. Cette parodie hilarante des séries télévisées policières tourne en dérision tous les travers de notre société, souvent basée sur l’imposture, l’hypocrisie et parfois même l’escroquerie…
