COVIDSafe MFT Productions
The following information is to keep you and our staff safe during your visit to MFT shows. Our procedures follow strict guidelines set by the VIC State Government and Live Performance Australia. Everyone who visits MFT shows is required by law to register for contact tracing and be fully vaccinated. There will be a QR code available on arrival for registration and we will keep your theatre booking information on file for this purpose. By registering, you agree to follow our COVIDSafe plan and follow direction from MFT staff.
Fully Vaccinated Venue
In accordance with government regulations, proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or valid medical exemption will be required for anyone over the age of 16 to enter MFT shows. All staff at MFT shows will likewise be fully vaccinated.
Each member of your party will be required to check-in on arrival and show proof of your vaccination status or medical exemption before you enter the building.
There are four types of evidence that will be accepted:
- Vaccination certificate integrated into the Services Victoria check-in app
- Vaccination certificate in your smartphone wallet
- Digital or printed vaccination certificate issued by the Australian Government along with photo ID
- Digital or printed exemption certificate along with photo ID
If you cannot provide the required proof on arrival, you will be unable to enter MFT shows.

Wear a Mask
The wearing of masks is mandatory for MFT shows.
Seating
Seating in the theatre is general admission – we recommend groups arrive at the venue together to assist being seated together.
If you are feeling unwell, please stay home
Do not attend if you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, have been in contact with a suspected or confirmed COVID-19 patient or visited one of the updated public exposure sites.
Click here for our refunds and exchange policy. If you begin to feel unwell during an event, contact a MFT immediately on 9349 2250 and in the instance of a positive COVID-19 case, contact the performance venue.
Use the hand sanitiser provided
We have hand sanitiser available at all entrances, exits and toilets throughout the venue – please lather up and remember to wash your hands regularly.
Physical Distancing
Please socially distance from people wherever possible and adhere to the distancing guidelines of the event.
Exiting the Theatre
To avoid congestion, all patrons will be asked to exit the theatre via the main entry. Our staff will be there to guide you.
Group Bookings
To arrange for a school or tour group to visit the venue, please contact us to find out capacity limits for the current events.
